New work for Audi

Some recent work shot for Audi and featuring their new Quattro Q7. We were doing a story on former England Polo captain Malcolm Borwick, shooting at the stables that he manages on an estate in Surrey.

This was not the first time I had met Malcolm having worked alongside him many moons ago in St Morritz when I was doing a story on Snow Polo. It’s safe to say he lives and breaths horses and has an unrelenting passion for the sport.

I keep finding myself drawn back to photographing horses, having been commissioned numerous times over the years to photograph horse related features – I enjoy being in the gentle but powerful presence. On this occasion we had a good few hours to get some portraits Malcolm, some reportage and action of the polo itself and of course all the images of the Q7; details, action and numerous locations. We were blessed with good weather and a lovely subject so we managed to capture a nice energy I think.
