This was a quick set of images from a whistle-stop tour around the kitchens of the famous Pastéis de Belém in Lisbon, one of the best known producers of the local sweet treat; Pastel de Nata. Established in 1837 it still brings in crowds from all over the world. I got a chance to see behind the scenes whilst in Lisbon on a commission. We probably only had about 15 mins there but I could have stayed all day as visually it was a real treat!
